MGM Grand will host an exclusive dining experience honoring the late chef Joël Robuchon on Thursday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. The evening will feature a seven-course tasting menu of time-honored classics, prepared by Chef Robuchon's proteges, including dishes that Robuchon perfected through the course of his career.
“Mr. Robuchon prepared unforgettable meals for countless visitors to his restaurants, and as a team who learned from him, we are honored to toast to his legacy by recreating his signature dishes for our own guests,” said L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Executive Chef Jimmy Lisnard. “I am humbled to have learned from one of the world’s most regarded chefs and I am excited to continue to share his culinary genius with our guests.”
Prepared by Lisnard, along with Culinary Director Eric Bouchenoire, Corporate Chef Tomonori Danzaki and Joël Robuchon Restaurant Executive Chef Christophe De Lellis, the menu will be available for $250 per person with an optional wine pairing of French selections, curated by Joël Robuchon Restaurant Director of Wine Michael Rone. An elegant dessert will finish the meal, a creation from Corporate Executive Pastry Chef Francois Benot. Highlights include:
De Lellis added, “Mr. Robuchon shared his passion for cooking in a way that was so inspiring, you couldn’t help but want to deliver the very best cuisine possible. I look forward to sharing the kitchen with my comrades as we work together to execute his vision during every dinner service.”
