DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Jersey City this month announced its on-property restaurant, Hudson Grille, has transformed its restaurant concept under a new culinary direction and leadership. Led by New Jersey native and recipient of the Best Chefs America award, Chef James Weaver, and Philip Jones, manager of F&B, Hudson Grille features a new localized menu and specialty cocktail assortment.
Hudson Grille boasts "a lively yet intimate experience in a warm, rustic venue for guests to unwind and enjoy themselves," the announcement states. The new concept embraces the flavours and culture of the greater Jersey City area with an eclectic spectrum of ingredients sourced from New Jersey farmers and anglers. "In fact, the closest food producer to Hudson Grille is “Bucket and Bay” Gelati and Sorbet--just three blocks away, providing fresh and organic sweets. Currently there is upwards of twenty local farmers, producers, breweries and fisheries represented on the menu," the announcement states.
