Adelphi Hotel Introduces New Meeting and Event Spaces
The Adelphi Hotel, an iconic property in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York, has introduced a collection of meeting and event spaces following a large-scale redevelopment and grand re-opening in fall 2017.
Originally built in 1877, The Adelphi Hotel boasts "a vivid, modern reimagining of classic Victorian luxury and now features a collection of curated meeting and event spaces allowing guests to create their own unique experience," an Adelphi announcement states. The Adelphi Hotel’s flexible spaces can stand alone for intimate events or meetings or combine to accommodate up to 200 guests.
“Our revitalized property is historically known as America’s playground for the rich and famous, creating an atmosphere desirable for large and small groups,” said Simon Milde, managing partner of Adelphi Hospitality Group. “Whether it’s a wedding, a celebratory party or a corporate meeting, each flexible meeting and event space within the hotel is the epitome of contemporary sophistication matched by approachable luxury.”
The new 2,300-square-foot Grand Ballroom can accommodate larger groups, when combined with The Blue Hen, for private meetings, conventions or weddings. The venue opens up to the tranquil Adelphi Gardens. The hotel’s Drawing Room is suited for cocktail receptions, seated dinners, and corporate meetings while the iconic Library offers guests flexible space for dinner parties and private celebrations.
The Adelphi’s dining concepts incorporate the spirit of a charming retreat. Groups can indulge their senses at The Blue Hen, a 1,200-square-foot glass-walled conservatory housing The Adelphi’s market-style restaurant, helmed by Executive Chef Braden Reardon. Morrisey’s, the hotel’s lounge, features a delightful selection of local beers, craft cocktails, and a collection of fine wine along with an array of small sharable plates and dishes. Adjacent to the hotel, Salt & Char boasts of a distinguished wine room, for a relaxed group dinner or corporate gathering.
