If the yearly themed menus at Picnix Poolside Market at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa were to strut in an F&B competition analogous to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, based on sales, this year’s gourmet-groomed dogs would win Best in Show.
Man (or woman) cannot live on view alone. A rooftop perch is nice and novel, but it's the F&B that should keep guests sticking around and give a hotel rooftop restaurant or bar a unique identity, among more and more rooftop venues popping up. At least that's the theory behind a menu relaunch at Kabana Rooftop, a stylish rooftop restaurant and lounge in the heart of Richmond, Virginia, on the 20th floor of Hilton's Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites.
The anchor of just-opened Dream Hollywood looks to be its F&B. The hotel features five restaurant and nightlife venues, operated by TAO Group, located within and adjacent to the hotel. Experiential offerings include rooftop concept The Highlight Room, Beauty & Essex, and TAO Asian Bistro and Avenue—all designed by Rockwell Group—as well as Luchini Pizzeria and Bar, designed by studio collective.
FHG and Concentrics Restaurants to open Brim House and The Heights at new Renaissance in Toledo.

This summer, restaurant group Concentrics Restaurants and hotel company First Hospitality Group (FHG) launch what they hope will be two destination restaurants at downtown Toledo, Ohio’s riverfront. Brim House and The Heights are brought to Toledo via a partnership between the two groups. Both will be located in the new Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel.

Qespi Restaurant at JW Marriott El Convento in Cusco, Peru received a wake-up call from Executive Chef Thais Rodriguez when she added ten new Peruvian “sacred ingredients” dishes to its à la carte breakfast menu.
