“In our industry, there are few names
that resonate as strongly as Cambro,”
says Cade Nagy, owner and chef at
Denver-based Catering by Design. “If
you need a container, you say, ‘Get me
a Cambro,’ when you need a hot box,
you say, ‘Put it in a Cambro.’”
Cambro’s insulated beverage
servers with handles are available
in different sizes and colors and are
easily stackable. Nagy appreciates
the flexibility of the Ultra Pans, which he uses primarily for
delivering hot food. Their easy to lock and unlock latches are
an asset when speed is of the essence.
Nagy says the Camcarts are a front runner for the most often-
used Cambro products. The cutting board on top of the cart
is invaluable in many situations when
space is at a premium. The catering
company is in the process of acquiring
more of the light and strong Camshelving
units because of their extreme
flexibility; they are used for storing a
variety of items that are moved around
the kitchen and warehouse, from floral
displays to canned goods.
“I know that every time I use a
Cambro product, my own products
are safe for transport and will maintain
their desired temperature,” says Nagy.
“We will always use Cambro as long as our doors are open; it’s
a true partnership for me and my business, and it would be fair
to say that we could not handle our business the way we strive
to without Cambro.” —MP
