Chaparral Suites in Scottsdale, Arizona, has
been using the Nescafé LiquiFresh On-Demand
Coffee System for a few years in its restaurant,
banquet space, and complimentary breakfast
offerings.
“The coffee requires no freezer space and offers
a long shelf life,” says Wayne Hudson, director
of purchasing for the 311-suite hotel. And because
it is served instantly on demand, guests can enjoy
a hot, fresh cup whenever they want it with no wait
and no waste. Hudson says this is especially useful
in the restaurant, which is open daily from 11 a.m.
to 1 a.m. The machines can be set to dispense any
number of cups, which he adds is valuable during
complimentary breakfast service, where the headcount
can be as high as 300.
“The systems eliminate waste because
they only make as many cups as you need,”
he says. “We used to have large coffee urns
with ground coffee, and even if we only
brewed enough for a half an urn, we still had
coffee left over.”
Chaparral’s staff appreciates the ease of
use of the LiquiFresh systems, which walk
users through the maintenance steps to
ensure the machines are always clean. And
the stainless steel cabinets offer an attractive
look and feel throughout the hotel’s dining
facilities. —MP
