Philippe Brenot, director of purchasing at
the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale (Arizona),
first encountered shelving and storage
units from Cambro Manufacturing five or
six years ago. “I started with just a few
Cambro units and fell in love with those,”
he recalls, “so, over time, I replaced nearly
all of [the hotel’s shelving].”
The durable and versatile Camshelving
units, which adjust to different
sizes and configurations, are used
throughout the hotel in produce and
meat coolers, beverage storerooms, housekeeping areas,
and for linens. “We use them everywhere,” says Brenot. The
shelving is “sturdy, very easy to put together, and very easy
to wash–you can just put them in the warewasher,” he says,
in contrast to past brands he’s used that
tended to rust.
Brenot also uses Cambro racks for
storing glasses. “You can fit many different
glasses, depending on the configuration,”
he explains. “They’re completely
enclosed on the side, so when you put
glasses in, no dust can get in, so the
glasses stay clean.” Some units even
feature antimicrobial properties.
The icing on the cake, Brenot says,
is the Cambro representative he works
with. “I have an amazing rep,” he says.
“She’s so responsive and always there when I need her. It
makes it easy to work with Cambro, and, of course, the product
