and he’s a happy
customer. “Probably
the biggest
thing people have commented on from the renovation is the
new chairs and their comfort level,” he says. “It’s not a reclining
seat, but it has a little give in the back of the chair. There’s also
at least three inches of padding on the seat itself,” he explains.
“It’s good for seminars where people are sitting for hours.”
The chairs, which Naffah describes as “comparable in price to
other banquet chairs” are on the way to paying for themselves.
He says one group with an eight-hour meeting cancelled their
reservation at another facility in part due to the enhanced seating
at the Hampton Inn.
Naffah also praises Gasser’s customer service and attention
to detail. “They delivered earlier than expected, and they were
very nice to deal with,” he says. He also likes the way the company
approached the chairs’ look, selecting fabric and finishes that
complemented the existing décor of the banquet and conference
room. “Their designers and our designers worked together to
come up with something that would look really great.” —JM
