Kellogg's Convenience Breakfast Foods Turns out Mom was right—breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But American lifestyles have changed, with an evolution of taste, dining, and travel habits along with increased interest in health and fitness. Responding to these changes and the challenges they bring is Kellogg’s Food Away From Home, offering leading brands of breakfast, snack, and convenience foods.

At the Chicago Marriott Downtown, Purchasing Manager Lisa Veleta recognizes the popularity and value of Kellogg’s, which holds the number one share of ready-to-eat cereals in foodservice and is an approved vendor throughout Marriott Corporation.

“Kellogg’s is recognized worldwide, and their products are what people buy at home, knowing they are getting high quality,” says Veleta, whose hotel includes three outlets and 65,000 square feet of meeting space. “They are very dependable. Everyone from a toddler to a 90-year-old eats Kellogg’s.”

Throughout the hotel—in restaurants and lounges, on coffee breaks, and in the cafeteria—guests and associates alike enjoy the taste, portability, and healthful options of Kellogg’s products, including everything from individually boxed and bulk cereals to Eggo waffles, Nutri-Grain and Special K bars, and Rice Krispies treats. “You know if it has Kellogg’s on the label, it is going to be good,” says Veleta. –JT
