Swiss Chalet Fine Foods Premium European Ingredients Robert Volpi directs a full-service dining operation—including a bakeshop and gelateria—serving the entire campus community of Williams College in northwest Massachusetts. “Dining with Pride” is a shared value throughout the department, with 100 employees dedicated to preparing and serving healthy, nutritious, and flavorful meals.

When Haco introduced their gluten-free line, Volpi switched immediately and exclusively. “We have a computerized menu planner production system, and the ingredient specified is Haco’s Cuisine Santé,” he says. “The base is delicious as well as safe and healthy.”

For Volpi, it’s not just about flavor, but also economics and even teamwork.
