Slicing citrus fruit by hand can be dangerous or, at the very least, sticky. So Rosa Williams, purchasing manager for Hot Dog on a Stick, buys Sunkist Sectionizer six-wedge slicers to take the hassle out of the job.
Williams appreciates how simple the sectionizers are to operate. “We like them because of the ease of use for our employees. They just pop in a lemon and push down, and we quickly, easily, and safely get fruit cut exactly how we need it,” she says.
And the sectionizers can do more than just cut lemons. They can also slice, core, and wedge a variety of fruits and vegetables. “It’s very easy to change the attachments on the sectionizers in the event we need them for a different task,” Williams says.
When it comes to durability, Williams says Sunkist products really make the cut with her team. “We have been using Sunkist Sectionizers for 30 years, and we have always been happy with them,” she says. “We expect to use them for many years to come.”
