Handmade Glass Buffetware » Clearly Complimentary
In 2006, David Ostrowski, director of event operations at Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, had a vision for the soon-to-open hotel that included a modern style highlighted by simple glass accents. At a food show, he discovered Isinglass buffetware and recognized a complement to this theme. “I was impressed by how passionate the owner was and how his products matched the style we envisioned for the hotel,” Ostrowski explains.
The Isinglass products were soon incorporated into the hotel’s buffet design. “The Isinglass team has really been there for us. Working with them has been a great experience.” In fact, Ostrowski has since convinced some sister Marriott hotels to feature Isinglass products as well.
“Guests tell us they like the pieces,” Ostrowski adds. “They are unusual and cause our executive chef's creations to really 'pop' on the plate." - VO
