Villeroy & Boch has a number of unique lines of dinnerware that find their way into hotels and restaurants worldwide. The San Diego Marriott Hotel is among this group.
The Marriott's Executive Chef, Werner Seyfried, purchased two Villeroy & Boch china lines last
year. He had spent extensive time researching multiple different companies, but after numerous
other chefs recommended Villeroy & Boch china, Seyfried made his choice.
Chef Seyfried selected both the Marchesi and Hotwave lines from Villeroy & Boch for use in his
catering venues. "It's a great product," he says. "The durability of the china is top quality,
and is also very aesthetically pleasing."
Seyfried also added, "The unique pieces complete the whole look of the banquet. They offer a much
cleaner, more food concentrated look."
So pleased was he with his decision that Seyfried ordered new stainless steel silverware to
compliment the look created by his new didnnerware.
