With oversight of twelve restaurants in New York City and locations in Arizona, Las Vegas, and Chicago,
along with different venues specializing in Italian, seafood, and Mexican, as well as an American steakhouse, Tim Wilson, corporate beverage director for BR Guest, Inc., knows his menu binders.
"For custom work, Victor Cornelius is the best in the business. Saddle leather hides if you choose, with
numerous color options. They can provide special logos, ink dyed, anything. The menus never wear out;
they're indestructible. In fact, as they age, they develop more character - the finish patinas and the
scratches add to the presentation," Wilson says.
"In our first restaurant, Fiamma, an Italian restaurant in New York City, we earned three-star awards from
the New York Times as well as a Michelin Star. We have 400 wine selections--all Italian. It's a very
unique wine list, and we're still using the original menu covers four years after we opened. Because of
their obvious value, the only ones gone were stolen," Wilson quips.
"Sure, you pay a modest premium up front. But Victor Cornelius menus look better, and they last a long time.
We came out ahead on value, and their service is fantastic," Wilson adds.
