When it comes to folding banquet tables, including six-footers, classroom, serpentine
and rounds, Midwest Folding Products is the first round choice.
Vito Palmietto, corporate director of f&b and purchasing, John Q. Hammons Hotels,
Springfield, Missouri, says they have used Midwest Folding Products exclusively for new
hotel openings during the last 18 months. These properties all have convention space
averaging 50,000-square-feet. He adds they intend to use Midwest Folding in the future.
According to Palmietto, the primary reason that Midwest Folding has become their first
round choice is because the tables have been "re-manufactured."
"The tables have been re-designed to be more durable than in the past," Palmietto says.
"They are lightweight, which helps avoid injuries."
Palmietto adds that Midwest Folding is "competitive with pricing and very responsive to
their needs as a company," whether they have longer lead times for new construction or
are under tighter deadlines with renovations.
In addition to folding tables, Palmietto says they use Midwest's high-capacity table storage unit.
"It's user-friendly, innovative, and saves a lot of space," Palmietto adds.
Midwest Folding Products of Chicago, a Sagus International Company, is known for its durability
and spring-bolt leg braces that resist wear and help accelerate set-up and tear-down.
