Hotel guests can take comfort in knowing that a renewed commitment to seating comfort is a hot trend in banquet seating.
Greg Piper, executive VP for sales, says MTS Seating pioneered the "webbed seat" comfort option in banquet seating over 18 years ago. "Hotels are demanding such options as our patented ComfortFlex® or ComfortWeb®," Piper says.
Performance fabrics with assured cleanability is another trend, Piper adds. In April 2006, MTS Seating introduced its Micah Series of all-aluminum, extremely lightweight chairs and matching barstools that are easily customized to designers' specifications.
