When the Tao Restaurant opened in the Big Apple five years ago, 325 upscale
restaurant chairs were purchased for the Asian-inspired, 325-seat establishment.
Today, the majority of those UNICHAIRS are still standing, a true testament to their
durability and design.
"We've swapped out very few of those original chairs, and with the amount of
business we do each night, that speaks volumes," says Co-Owner Louis Abin.
According to Abin, the restaurant does 800 to 1,100 covers a night on average,
making it the second-highest grossing restaurant in the country.
Abin describes the chairs as both very comfortable and very functional. He has equally
high praise for UNICHAIRS service.
"Their service is fantastic," Abin says. "They are accessible and eager to adapt to our
particular needs."
All these reasons are why Abin and his partners again looked to UNICHAIRS when they decided to
open Tao Las Vegas at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. Scheduled for completion in September,
this 650-seat restaurant also will include a nightclub, lounge, and banquet facility.
