Ashley Gochnauer has been named general manager of the newest Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants property in Los Angeles, The Everly, slated to open April 2017. Gochnauer, previously general manager of Kimpton’s Hotel Wilshire, will be responsible for the management, operations, and marketing of the new 216-room hotel.
Gochnauer has an extensive hospitality background, including seven years with the Kimpton brand across three Los Angeles properties. Prior to joining Kimpton, she worked for W Hotels & Resorts and Viceroy Hotels and Resorts. In Gochnauer’s most recent position at Hotel Wilshire, she led the launch of a successful first year under Kimpton ownership while overseeing operations for the boutique hotel.
“Ashley’s many years with Kimpton combined with her extensive knowledge of the Los Angeles market makes her the perfect person to lead the opening of the Everly Hotel,” says Ed Virtue, Kimpton Hotels Area Director of Operations, SoCal – Los Angeles & Orange County. “I look forward to seeing her create the ultimate guest experience with unique programming, exceptional amenities, and the dedicated service that Kimpton guests know and love.”
Throughout Gochnauer’s hospitality career, she has been granted various awards and accolades. Most recently, Gochnauer received Kimpton’s Hotel Creativity award in 2014.
The Everly, opening spring 2017, will feature 216 rooms, including 12 suites, all with views of the Hollywood sign or cityscape from downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Coast. Relaxed, light-filled interiors and a thoughtful design for comfort and ease, The Everly aims to be a celebration of its Beachwood Canyon neighborhood and laid-back California lifestyle. Jane Q, the street-level restaurant, will cater to guests and locals with its lively, radiant vibe and menu honoring the California slow food movement, while the Ever Bar serves as the social center of the hotel. The fifth-floor pool deck offers cocktails and light bites day and night, high above the bustling city below. The Everly will also offer creative meeting and event spaces, a fitness center, in-room spa treatments and more.
