Features a traditional convection heating system like other banquet carts or a heat retention system that is charged before loading the meals. Then, the cart can be unplugged and taken to the banquet location. The heater slowly releases heat and keeps meals warm for two hours, unplugged. Traulsen EnergyStar® rated hot-food holding cabinets include a heating system that distributes hot air evenly throughout the cabinet, keeping food hot and fresh. The design includes a low-watt density heater in an encapsulated double-wall down duct. Two fans pull air from the top of the cabinet down over the heater element. Air exits at the bottom and is drawn up over the product, ensuring consistent temperature maintenance. With the convenient on/off button, the “onetime temperature-setting adjustment” automatically warms the unit to the preset temperature.
