Geoffrey M. Sagrans, CFBE, FMP, MCFE, is currently the Assistant Director of Materials Management for The Breakers Palm Beach. He works alongside the Director of Materials Management in the operation of the Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing and Mailroom operations at this 560-room resort.
Geoffrey is also a part-time Chef Instructor at the Florida Culinary Institute, where he teaches in the Bachelor's program. During his 18 years in the business, he has held various positions in restaurants, country clubs, hotels, and food markets, as well as owned his own catering company. Geoffrey's career mostly began in the kitchen, from which he transitioned to food and beverage management. Using knowledge gained along the way, he made the leap to materials management.
