Sinatra-Themed F&B at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Hotels with an historic past are finding new and innovative ways to celebrate their heritage through F&B.
One example is the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and its 100-day countdown to what would have been Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday (which is December 12.) The Fontainebleau was built in 1954 and served as one of Sinatra’s work/play bases for many years, hosting the singer’s performances, and providing the location for three Sinatra films.
The resort will have Sinatra-themed exhibits and events during those 100 days, and from an F&B standpoint, there will be a nightly toast of Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select whiskey at the hotel’s Bleau Bar; Sinatra-themed in-room amenities; a 1950’s-inspired “Brunch with Frank”; plus Sinatra-influenced menus, cocktails, and dinners throughout the property’s F&B venues.
The promotion starts on September 2, and the 100 days will likely give the Fontainebleau’s F&B team a chance to be deeply creative with the theme, as opposed to a brief, one-off event.
