WELBILT NAMED ENERGY STAR PARTNER OF YEAR FOR SUSTAINED EXCELLENCEEighth consecutive year and counting New Port Richey, FL - April 6, 2017 - Welbilt has been named a 2017 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award winner for continued leadership in protecting our environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. Welbilt’s accomplishments will be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. on April 26, 2017.
Welbilt, an ENERGY STAR partner since 2001, will be honored for its long-term commitment to energy efficiency by receiving eight years of award winning excellence. Currently participating and offering seven product brands in seven ENERGY STAR categories, including fryers, ice machines, refrigerators & freezers, steam cookers, griddles, hot holding cabinets, and ovens. Significantly increasing the number of ENERGY STAR products offered in its Frymaster® fryer line and product sales for Koolaire® ENERGY STAR qualified ice machines.

MANITOWOC FOODSERVICE TO BEGIN TRADING AS WELBILT (NYSE:WBT)Will ring the Opening Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange on March 10thto celebrate the name change New Port Richey, FL. – March 6, 2017 – Manitowoc Foodservice, Inc. announced today that it has completed its previously-announced name change to Welbilt, Inc. and will begin trading today on the New York Stock Exchange with the new ticker WBT. Current shareholders will have their existing shares converted from MFS shares to WBT shares automatically. To celebrate its name change and new ticker, Welbilt will ring the Opening Bell® at the New York Stock Exchange on Friday, March 10th.
